Lyrics and Video of Susundan by Callalily

Susundan Lyrics
Music and Words by: Kean Cipriano
Arranged by: Callalily

Susundan kahit san man magpunta,
di ka mawawala
Naghahanap ng kasagutan
sa tanong na di ko maintindihan
Meron pa bang patutunguhan?
Akoy’y nandito at ika’y nawawala.
Nahuhulog na ang luha.

Susundan kahit san man magpunta,

Susundan kahit san man magpunta,
di ka mawawalasa puso kong iyong-iyo lamang.
Di kita malilimutan.
Susundan kahit san man magpunta,
di ka mawawalasa puso kong iyong-iyo lamang.
Di kita malilimutan.
Paalam

THIS SONG by Callalily is still a hit on the radio and music television charts because it is simply a good song to listen to.

Pinoy Idol Extra is Waste of Time

I WILL never watch Pinoy Idol Extra again. I swear, I swear!

Pinoy Idol Extra is a nightly show on GMA-7 , which features behind-the-scenes footage during live shows and interviews with contestants and judges. It is supposed to bring the contestants closer to the audience by divulging the stories behind their determination to be the first Pinoy Idol.

It is hosted by Karylle and Rhian Ramos. I love Rhian but as hosts, she and Karylle are just so sloppy. Why did the production choose hosts who are as lousy as YengConstatino of Pinoy Dream Academy?

Worse, watching it is like watching a Venta5, a tv-shopping show on ABC-5, because of so many commercials. It seems that the show is produced only to gain revenues from ads. It never makes me eager to watch the eliminations, which should have been what Pinoy Idol Extra is produced for.

Kim Chiu as My Girl on ABS-CBN

EVERYONE WAITED for the Pinoy version of the 2006 hit Koreanovela, My Girl on ABS-CBN. And now, it's gaining more and more popularity after the airing of it;s first episode last night.

In the Pinoy remake, Kim Chiu stars as Jasmine, while her love team, Gerald Anderson, plays Julian. This is the love team's second drama series after emerging as top two winners of the first Pinoy big Brother Teen Edition. They starred in Sana Maulit Muli, which was a top rater in 2007, and is currently shown in Taiwan.

The role of Niko is played by Enchong Dee while Niña Jose plays the role of a tennis star, Annika who is interested in Julian.

I'm sure that the first episode rated well because it proved to be better than what people expected it to be. The editing was clean. It didn't dwell on one scene and each scene was not overdone. Kim Chiu played the role really well and the fact that's she's multingual there is interesting. Only Gerald Anderson has yet to prove he deserves to play the role.

My Girl is aired in the Primetime Drama block of ABS-CBN after Lobo.

Billy Joe Crawford to host ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Dream Academy

THE PRIMETIME news TV Patrol World confirmed the rumors that Billy Joe Crawford is hosting the 2nd Season of Pinoy Dream Academy.

After making it big in the UK charts, Billy Joe Crawford returned to the Philippines. But his comeback was not very celebrated. He had some big hits but it was never followed up. Soon after, he hosted a dance search on GMA-7 that was not much celebrated either.

Now, he is moving in to the home of the Kapamilyas, or should I say, back into the Kapamilya network, because I believe he had done some shows in the past with ABS-CBN.

Would he be warmly welcomed? Is the ABS-CBN stable of stars too crowded for a Billy Joe Crawford? Will his joining the PDA production add some life to the boring stuff PDA’s first grand winner Yeng Constantino is doing on the weekend PDA primer?

We will all see as the new season of the Pinoy Dream Academy unfolds.

American Idol: The Two Davids in Concert

HERE ARE two mini-concert videos of David Cook and David Archuleta on the Season Finale of the American Idol 7:

Let's welcome, David Cook singing Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Dream Big, and The World I Know:

And here's David Archuleta with Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me, In This Moment, and Imagine:

American Idol: A Tale of Two Davids

THE ROCKSTAR Rocks!

During the first episodes of the American Idol I already had the feeling that it would be the two Davids who will duel for the title. And I was right. It's amusing.

Between the two Davids, it's David Cook, as you know, won the title, American Idol. Here are videos of his performance of the song, World I Know and Dream Big:

Just for camprison, you might want to listen to David Archuleta's rendition of In This Moment and Imagine:

After examining these videos, you can have your conclusion as to who really deserves to win. I can only agree with one of the comments on Youtube saying that David Archuleta is the better singer but there's no way America would vote for a cute 17 year-old male.

The two Davids are really talented singers but America loved David Cook more. But I'm sure both of them would have great careers ahead of them.

Charice Pempengco on Oprah

ALMOST EVERY Filipino waited to see Charice Pempengco on Oprah.

Everyone loves this girl who spent most of her childhood auditioning for singing contests, winning in some, losing in others. Her latest was being a runner up in ABS-CBN's Little Big Star.

Chrise was born in Cabuyao, Laguna on May 10, 1983. That's is what we know about her biography so far.

Although we have already been noticing her amazing voice since her joining the Little Pop Star (I'm not quite sure of the title of the segment) on MTB Ang Saya Saya, where she impersonated Whitney Houston, she did not really make it big in the Philippines.

Good thing, a fan has been posting videos of her performances on YouTube that landed her in the South Korea's Star King, London's Paul O'Grady Show, and the US' Ellen and Oprah.

Here is the most awaited video of her performance on Oprah:

Lucky girl, Charice, she has hugged and been hugged by one of the world's most powerful and influential women. You really did us proud for showing to the world that we've got talent.

As a bonus, here's a video of Charice Pempengco with Sharon Cuneta on the Sunday evening talk show on ABS-CBN, Sharon:

PBB Teen Edition Plus: Priscilla’s Out, Who’s Next?

“Pris is finally out! Haha.” That was the text message that woke me up from my deep sleep Saturday night. It came from a friend who really hates Priscilla because of her Tupperware character.

I could still remember how my friend loved Priscilla during the early days of the show. But when events inside Kuya’s house revealed Priscilla’s true character, she kept on prodding me to vote for the other nominees so that Pris will finally be evicted.

My friend is just one of the many Pinoys who were pissed off with how Priscilla seemed to have changed her behavior last week. But I appreciate it. Instead of hating Priscilla what happened made me appreciate her better. But the voting public had already made a choice and turned a deaf ear to the Deaf Dreamer’s dream.

The 7th Nomination has already been held. And it ended up with Rona and Robi on the brink of eviction. My friend can't decide now because she loves both Robi and Rona. She likes Robi because she believes he is ideal. She loves Rona because of her maturity.

Now, whom will you save: Robi or Rona?

Sarah Geronimo Live in Gensan

HERE ARE some front row photos of Sarah Geronimo Live in GenSan.

Sarah Geronimo is indeed the Philippine Pop Princess to people here in GenSan. The enormous Lagao Gym was so filled with adoring fans of Sarah. People here generally don’t care about what other people are saying about Sarah’s looks and talent. They are just so awed by the performances that Sarah Geronimo never failed to entertain them with.

These photos are courtesy of Sir Avel.

Sarah’s endorsement of Bench has elicited negative comments from critics but that doesn’t stop GenSan fans from idolizing singer-actress-endorser as a total entertainer.

I'm Yours by Jason Mraz Lyrics

I CAN'T help but sing to the tune of this catchy song by Jason Mraz. It has a certain quality that makes you release the emotions you are keeping inside you. It's a good song to start the day, to accompany you as you work, and to lull you to bed.

So, here is the song lyrics:

I'm Yours

Jason Mraz

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracksand now I'm trying to get back
Before the cool done run outI'll be giving it my bestest
Nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
Listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing
We're just one big family

And It's our God-forsaken right to be loved love loved love loved

So I won't hesitate no more, no more It cannot wait I'm sure
There's no need to complicate Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

Scooch closer dearand i will nibble your ear
I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
My breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and laughed

I guess what i be saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
this is our fate, I'm yours

Well no no, well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find the sky is yours
Listen to the music of the moment come and dance with me
A lá one big family
(2nd time: A lá happy family; 3rd time: A lá peaceful melody)

It's your God-forsaken right to be loved love love love

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

No please, don't complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

No please, don't hesitate
no more, no more
It cannot wait
The sky is your's!

PBB Teen Edition Plus: Josef Leaves Big Brother's House

LAST NIGHT on the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition Plus, the Philippines and the World finally said goodbye to Josef Elizalde.

Josef, the Lethal Lasallite, is teamed up with Nicole of Cebu. In fact, there already exists as fan group called NeoSef.

In my search, I've found out that he starred in the kwela Chippy commercial involving four naughty students. Here's the video of the said commercial:

Sam Concepcion is DepEd's Spokesperson

ASIDE FROM being Little Big Star Champion on ABS-CBN (beating Charisse Pempengco) and one of the biggest teen stars in the Philippines toady, Sam Concepcion is also the youth spokesperson and role model of the Department of Education (DepEd).

In a Philippine Daily Inquirer report, Lapus asked the 14-year-old recording artist and theater actor to "inspire young Filipinos to see how education can improve oneself and the nation." In reply, Sam Concepcion said, "This is a big responsibility, but I will do my share and give it my best shot."

The bases for choosing him as the new spokesperson are his accomplishments in the entertainment industry and his being able to keep a wholesome image in the eyes of the public, choosing education as on of his priorities. He is an incoming third year high school student under the home study program of the US-based Alpha Omega International School.

The DepEd's previous youth spokespersons included the late Rico Yan, Shaira Luna, Jolina Magdangal, Onemig Bondoc and Dingdong Dantes.

Next up, I will be posting pictures and videos of Sam Concepcion as he performed at the 6th Youth for Environment Summer (YES) Camp on April 30, 2008 at the Foundation University in Dumaguete City. Watch out for it!
