Artist Spotlight: Meet CLOUD7 - The Fresh Faces Shaking Up P-Pop

When you hear the name CLOUD7, think fresh energy, powerful performances, and a splash of youthful swag. This seven-member boy group from the Philippines is already turning heads, and with good reason. Lukas, Johann, Egypt, Kairo, Migz, PJ, and Fian officially stormed the P-Pop scene on August 20, 2023, with their debut single Tara Na. And guess what? They're the youngest P-Pop group to come out of Sparkle GMA Artist Center. So yeah, keep an eye on these rising stars because they're about to take things sky-high.

Oh, and if you’re a fan, welcome to the RAINBOW fam — that's the official fandom name.

Meet the Members

During a fun Q&A with their fans, the members got candid about their roles and personalities. Let’s break down the dream team that makes up CLOUD7:

Lukas (Leader, Main Visual):
Born: November 4, 2007

As the leader of the group, Lukas not only guides the team but also grabs attention with his visuals. He’s also got a playful side and loves connecting with fans during live sessions. Fun fact: Lukas is a huge fan of chicken, and according to the group, he’s definitely in the running for being the tallest member too!

Johann (Main Vocalist):
Born: June 22, 2007

Known for his strong, emotive voice, Johann isn’t just the guy to belt out powerful notes; he’s also a bit of a fanboy. In a recent chat, he shared his love for SB19 and especially looks up to Josh from the group.

Egypt (Sub-Vocalist, Sub-Visual):
Born: January 22, 2009

Egypt was the first member revealed, and fans quickly fell for his boyish charm and vocals. His members agree that he’s one of the most photogenic, always camera-ready. Egypt is also a big fan of sports like football and tennis, making him one of the most athletic members.

Kairo (Lead Dancer, Sub-Rapper):
Born: April 6, 2006

Kairo stepped in as the last member, but his impact has been major. His dancing is sharp, and he’s got some serious rapper skills too. He’s always ready to play games like Roblox, and even though he joined the group later, his chemistry with the team is seamless.

Migz (Main Dancer, Vocalist):
Born: January 30, 2010

Migz is the group’s dancing dynamo, bringing explosive moves to every performance. He’s also an academic achiever and balances his life as a student and performer with ease. Not only does he shine on stage, but Migz also enjoys playing sports like football and swimming in his downtime.

PJ (Lead Vocalist):
Born: April 11, 2011

The lead vocalist of the group, PJ has a sweet yet powerful voice. He’s also dubbed the cutest by his members, though don’t let his looks fool you — PJ is serious about his craft. He loves singing songs from artists like The Weeknd and hopes to bring that same soul and vibe to his performances.

Fian (Main Rapper, Youngest):
Born: June 7, 2011

As the youngest member of CLOUD7, Fian is full of energy and fun. He’s got a clingy side when he’s excited, which fans find adorable. But don’t sleep on his rap skills — Fian brings fire to his lines. He’s also a big sports fan, enjoying everything from tennis to football, making him a well-rounded performer.

'Proud Pinoy Ako': Olivia Rodrigo Rocks Manila and Owns Her Filipino Heritage

Olivia Rodrigo is the cool cousin we all wish we had, and Manila made sure she felt the love. The Filipino-American superstar got the ultimate homecoming reception during the Philippine leg of her GUTS tour at the Philippine Arena, with 55,000 fans ready to claim her as their own. Nicknamed "Insan Liv" (translation: cousin Liv) by her Filipino fans, Rodrigo stepped onstage to the kind of welcome you’d give a long-lost relative—warm, loud, and a little bit chaotic. She didn’t disappoint, kicking off a concert that was part pop spectacle, part family reunion, and all heart. But this wasn’t just about the music. Rodrigo made it clear she was here for something bigger, too. All ticket proceeds, priced at P1,500 each, went directly to her Fund 4 Good initiative. This isn’t your typical celebrity charity—it’s Olivia’s way of using her platform to build a more equitable future for women and girls through education, reproductive rights, and the fight against gender-based violence.
