Are You Ready for Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour?

Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour is almost here, and excitement is in the air! Scheduled for October 5 at the Philippine Arena, tickets are priced at just 1,500 pesos for all sections, making this concert accessible for many. Plus, every ticket sold supports a great cause through Olivia's Fund 4 Good initiative, aimed at empowering women and girls around the globe.

However, the ticket sales have been chaotic. Fans camped out for over 30 hours and still went home empty-handed as tickets sold out in less than 30 minutes. Many Livies are calling for a second concert date, hoping to secure a spot after the overwhelming demand during online sales and the limited over-the-counter (OTC) sales on September 29. One fan tweeted, “We need Day 2, @oliviarodrigo. Some of your fans waited over 30 hours for OTC, but the tickets were sold out in less than 30 minutes!”

Ticketing Chaos

The situation has sparked frustration regarding transparency, especially since Live Nation PH and SM Tickets didn't clarify the number of available tickets during sales. Issues like late notifications of sold-out tickets and confusion around ticket redemptions further fueled the anger. Some online buyers encountered problems with “questionable activities” flagged, leaving them without tickets despite successful payments.

One standout feature of the Silver Star Tickets is the random assignment of seating sections, meaning fans may find themselves in various areas of the arena, from limited-view spots to prime floor locations, ensuring a diverse experience.

Lyrics and Video of the Dyosa Theme Song: Himig ng Pag-ibig by Yeng Constantino

THE PRODUCTION design of ABS-CBN's newest fantaserye , DYOSA starring Anne Curtis is enticing. The musical score, theme song, and post-production are great. Kids at home really watch out for every episode of it. But what got my attention is the theme song, Himig ng Pag-ibig. originally sung by ASIN , and given a different interpretation by Yeng Constantino for the primetime series. So here is the video and lyrics of DYOSA's theme song: Himig ng Pag-ibig by Yeng Constantino Hoo hoo-hoo hoo-hoo Hoh hoh-hoo hoo-hoo Sa pagsapit ng dilim ako'y naghihintay pa rin Sa iyong maagang pagdating Pagkat ako'y nababalisa kung 'di ka kapiling Bawat sandali mahalaga sa atin.

Bea Alonzo is Betty La Fea

THE GORGEOUS Bea Alonzo transforms into an ugly but intelligent woman working in a fashion design comapany, Eco Moda, for yet another Pinoy remake of an international drama series, i ♥ Betty la fea (pronounced I Love Betty La Fea) on ABS-CBN. The new drama series is based on the Colombian drama series, Yo Soy Betty La Fea (I am Betty the Ugly), which was also franchised in the US with the TV drama Ugly Betty . What's good about this Pinoy version is that Bea really looks like Betty of the original drama series, which was shown here few years ago. I'm really wathcing out for this show. i ♥ Betty la fea is top-billed by big names in the Philippine showbiz industry. Here's the list of the show's cast from wikipedia: Bea Alonzo as Beatriz Pengson / Betty Piolo Pascual John Lloyd Cruz as Armando Solis Ruffa Gutierrez as Daniela Valencia [1] Vhong Navarro as Nicolas Mora [2] Ai Ai delas Alas as Julia Pengson Sam Concepcion as Andrew Pengson Ronaldo Valdez as Hermes

Hana Kimi to be shown on ABS-CBN and GMA-7

THE NETWORK war is on getting fiercer again. Proof? They are showing the same (same title, at least) TV series on March 24--the Taiwanese adaptation on ABS-CBN and the Japanese on GMA-7. I did a little research and found out that the story of these TV dramas are based on the manga series, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e or For You in Full Blossom. The plot is about a girl who enrolls in a school for boys just to get near her idol. A twist of events eventually revealed her identity to the school doctor. Many could associate this to the Koreanovela Coffee Prince on GMA-7. In fact, some ABS-CBN fanatics think that it is the network's answer to Coffee Prince , which had just ended. The million-dollar question is, which version is better, the Taiwanese of the Japanese version? A scene from the Taiwanese version (Wikipedia.com) Mukamo.com says that the Japanese version could be better because it's funny, but it also says that the Taiwanese version could also be attractive to fans beca
